🌋 Austrian Adventure Guides + Campervan Rental for USA West

Plan a summer full of adventure including the Olpererhutte hike

Today is Mar 17, 2023,

Hello there Outdoor lovers! Happy St. Paddy's Day....

One of the best ways I've found to get my tweens/teens into long distance hiking is by bribery.

Yes. You heard me right. Bribes. And it totally works! Hot cocoa with fresh whipped cream to hike to the top of the mountain...a paragliding trip after a 3 day hut to hut hike.

Enjoy this week's articles with a review of Austria's most famous bridge hike, a summer travel guide to get there (including ziplining and glacier cave tours), and a review of the best paragliding in the Zillertal Valley (next to Olpererhutte)...

Because we all need ammo to entice the reluctant into the hiking lifestyle. A little sugar (like paragliding) will hook them into the best activity for lifelong health and happiness. xoxo, morgan

➡️ 🌷Spring is the time to reserve a converted campervan for travels around the Western USA this summer. I love Escape campervans, here's the new Del Mar Van that has a pop top so you can standup inside, sleep more people and get to some cool outdoor spots with this rugged van.

"Best of the Dolomites"New Trek

If you want to marvel in wonder in the Dolomites this summer - I would recommend to do the newly developed Dolomites Hut to Hut Traverse. It does the opposite of most treks - it goes West to East starting in Seceda and going to the Tre Cime. It avoids via ferratas which is nice for us fearful hikers, but you can always add on a via ferrata if you like.

I've not done it in summer, but I recently skied Seceda and the Sella Ronda and scouted out the route on maps and from the gondolas and I can say that I'm SUPER pumped to do this one in summer.

It's got less traffic, more diverse landscapes and you get to hit some of the most popular spots in the Dolomites but going against the grain. The hardest part is finding huts on the popular trails and dealing with whiny tourists clogging the trails.

When everyone else goes right, it's nice to go left.

Until next time, Adventures Await!
