Update here on the home front: We took the pups out for a second training run when the weather was super cold and muddy. Lesson learned…my doodle needs a bit longer hair on longer hikes to avoid skin breakdown on her back hip. On our first training hike, due to the colder temps it wasn’t much of a problem but the wetness added to her friction problems.
