Hey there hikers!

Let’s get real…the Alta Via 1 trail in the Dolomites is one of the top 2 beginner hut to hut hiking trails in the world. Probably the Tour du Mont Blanc and AV1 are the MOST popular.

I love to go where others aren’t…but this trail is unreal and magic.

IF you want to do it…I would say this is your absolute last chance to book it yourself (i’ve got detailed instructions on how to do it in the post) or hire a self-guided planner. There’s some guided tour groups also…

Some people start at another trailhead, which is easier….but I don’t recommend skipping this for an easier day 1.

Note: This tour will not be on the Alta Via 1. I will be guiding the trip personally and we will be hiking in a more remote and less crowded area south of Cortina d’Ampezzo.
