Here’s the travel trail guide as promised for this little hidden gem in Germany’s Allguaer Alps.

It’s germany’s highest lake and totally awesome. No crowds, tons of views and a 1,000 meters of elevation in 5 miles of a hike up, then 5 down. Knees!!!! But the best mac and cheese awaits at the bottom.

Klettersteigs and Canyoning

What’s cool about this area is that it’s not jam packed like the Dolomites or Mont Blanc area. And you can do other activities like klettersteigs and canyoning.

You can find pretty awesome hotels….

But as the earth is melting…you may want to get to Mt Blanc asap to see the glaciers before they are gone!
