Do you get lost Hiking? + Lago di Braies Travel Guide

Cause I definitely get lost. Thank goodness for Alltrails

Today is Mar 25, 2023,

Hello there Outdoor lovers! We're welcoming Spring here in Germany with the almond and plum trees blooming and once in a while a day with sun!

With all the rain I've been planning my upcoming summer adventures and writing tons of guides for beginner hikers that aren't sure how to manage injuries like plantar fasciitis or want to up their training with weighted vests. I figure it's good to put my physical therapy skills to use for hikers ;-)

It's also time to plan for the summer and I've been pretty pleased with AllTrails. I still love Komoot, but AllTrails has a few more options and categories that are interesting. I also like the map interface better.

They've got a deal going on this weekend only so if you're interested grab it while it's 50% off.

➡️ Click Here to get 50% off an All Trails Navigation App Subscription. The deal expires March 28th.It even has a section for Via Ferrata so this would be helpful for any upcoming Dolomites adventures. *In case you're on a trail and DONT want to do one, or if you DO!

"Best of the Dolomites"New Trek

If you want to marvel in wonder in the Dolomites this summer - I would recommend to do the newly developed Dolomites Hut to Hut Traverse. It does the opposite of most treks - it goes West to East starting in Seceda and going to the Tre Cime. It avoids via ferratas which is nice for us fearful hikers, but you can always add on a via ferrata if you like.

I've not done it in summer, but I recently skied Seceda and the Sella Ronda and scouted out the route on maps and from the gondolas and I can say that I'm SUPER pumped to do this one in summer.

It's got less traffic, more diverse landscapes and you get to hit some of the most popular spots in the Dolomites but going against the grain. The hardest part is finding huts on the popular trails and dealing with whiny tourists clogging the trails.

When everyone else goes right, it's nice to go left.

Until next time, Adventures Await!
