1. Last Minute Hiking Vacation Deals: June

  • Peaks of the Balkans (Croatia & Montenegro guided)

  • GR20 Corsica (self guided)

  • Matterhorn Highlights (Switzerland guided hut to hut trek)

We keep going back to Montenegro for it’s wonderful Nature- Culture Combo.

May is one of those months that is so busy it’s really easy to miss precious planning time. I’ve scoured some European hiking groups to find a few last minute spots on some pretty epic trips you can still book for June.

🎯 See dates to Book Peak of Balkans (8 days, English speaking guide). Experience the untold stories of Albania and Montenegro's rugged beauty. Immerse into the Grbaja valley, climb Trekufiri and experience authentic shepherd lifestyle. Watch this video of the hike.

🎯 See Dates to Book the GR20 in Corsica (8 days, Self Guided). You can book either the rocky north half, or southern more accessible half. You could also do the entire trek, but it’s for rather experienced trekkers. The terrain is harsh and days are long, so if you’re going on a whim you’d better have some experience.

🎯 See dates to Book the Matterhorn Trek (4 days, English speaking guide). If you want to see the best of Zermatt, hike hut to hut and cross the Charles Kueonen suspension bridge over a long weekend, this is a great way to get introducted to high Swiss trekking.

2. Watch it 🎥 👉 Michelin Hikes in the Middle of Nowhere

  • Hidden Waterfalls

  • Stunning Rock formations

  • Tiny village Michelin Restaurant on trail

I have the best hiking buddy ever! How fun is it to scout hidden trails with your doodle?

We hiked this last week in efforts to create a series of 10 hikes that end at a Michelin restaurant in the middle of nowhere in Germany’s wild Southwest.

Who says hiking is all just about the Nature? Sometimes it’s the perfect prelude to fabulous cuisine.

It’s even more fun when it’s totally off the beaten path.

3. Culture Corner

It’s often stated that the Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany countryside resembles Tuscany with it’s peaky small mountains, vineyard draped hillsides and never ending “wine hikes”.

There’s even a Trulli style house amongst the vineyards with it’s own hiking-wine festival. Including FIRE!

I’d love to hear what you think of this.
