Hiking the Fisherman's Trail
Today is Sep 22, 2023,
Hello Adventure Lovers!
It’s been a few weeks since the last email. Hopefully you’re getting your last few drops of summer and enjoying Nature.
I’m getting lots of questions about the Tour du Mont Blanc and how to book for 2024. It’s a tough one, only certain huts are available to book now. Often they don’t open up their websites until October. Each one is different. So get your spreadsheets on the ready! (Or pay a service to save time.)
Long Distance Hiking in Fall??
What many people don’t know about is the Fisherman’s Trail in Portugal. It’s high season in October for hiking due to the exceptional ocean-side landscapes and cooler weather.
I hiked it in November and had a total blast. Some may get rained out though so it’s a gamble. Like anything…however if you’ve got some risk tolerance it’s a really breathtaking route along the ocean south of Lisbon going from one fishing village to the next.
And, it’s cheap. ;-). ¼ cost of the Alps…and pretty easy to book yourself.
My guide includes the spreadsheets I used to coordinate a 4 day long weekend multi day hike you can download. 👎
Until next time, Adventures Await!
Thanks for reading! 💞 Morgan
