Private rooms on Alta Via 1 hut to hut hike

Getting private rooms on the Alta Via 1 in the Dolomites is usually VERY difficult.

After zero sleep in a hut in Morocco before a sunrise ascent, I can confidently say good sleep makes a huge difference on a long distance hike.

I find most American’s like to have a little more solitude on their hiking days so I’m planning a special spot that’s a lot quieter than the AV1 but with good food, good wine and comfy beds each night.
